SPECIAL NOTE
LEAD PLANES AND
PURPLE HEART CORNERS
We
are flying a new formation. There are more than one position which are
exposed to enemy fighters than just the Tail-End Charlie. These new
positions are called The Purple Heart Corners and are marked . All Purple Heart
Corners will have an EXTRA
109 AT 12 HIGH. When the German fighter tactics changed the
position of this fighter also changed.
Lead Bombers WILL NOW HAVE an extra 109 attacking.
This mission will be a test for the Purple Heart Corners.
If it doesn't work, the original Tail-End Charlie rule will be used.
The Purple Heart Corners are tested here as I beleive that it is more
historically correct at this time of the war than a Tail-End Charlie.
